1.1 These General Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all coaching services provided by Lea Skapetze, trading as The Final Piece ("Coach"), to the client ("Client").

1.2 These Terms apply in the version valid at the time the contract is concluded. Deviating terms of the Client do not apply unless expressly agreed in writing.

2.1 The Coach provides life and mental coaching in the field of personal development.

2.2 The service comprises individual coaching of the client.

2.3 The Coach owes a service (Dienstleistung, §§ 611 ff. BGB), not a specific result. No particular outcome, improvement, or success is warranted.

2.4 The nature and limits of the service are further defined in § 8 below (Important Note), which forms an integral part of these Terms.

3.1 The contract is concluded when the Client submits a booking and the Coach confirms it in text form.

3.2 By submitting the booking, the Client confirms having read and accepted these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

3.3 The Client confirms they are at least 18 years old.

4.1 The contract begins on the date stated in the invoice and has a minimum term of three (3) months.

4.2 After the minimum term has expired, the contract continues for an indefinite period on a monthly basis.

4.3 After the minimum term has expired, either party may terminate with 14 days' notice to the end of the current monthly service period, in text form (email is sufficient). Notice may already be given during the minimum term, with effect from the end of the minimum term at the earliest.

4.4 The right to extraordinary termination for good cause (§ 626 BGB) remains unaffected. This includes the circumstances described in § 8.4.

This section applies to Clients who are consumers within the meaning of § 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB) — i.e. who conclude the contract for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession. It does not apply to Clients contracting as entrepreneurs (§ 14 BGB).

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform me —

— by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, I shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which I am informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. I will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

If you requested that the provision of services begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay me an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated to me your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

The right of withdrawal expires prematurely if I have fully performed the service and only began performance after you expressly consented to this and simultaneously confirmed your knowledge that you would lose your right of withdrawal upon complete performance of the contract (§ 356 (4) BGB).

These Terms are provided in English for the Client's convenience. The German version of the withdrawal instruction and the model withdrawal form is authoritative. In the event of any discrepancy, the German version prevails.

6.1 The Coach applies the small-business regulation under § 19 UStG; no VAT is charged.

6.2 Invoices are due within 14 days of the invoice date without deduction.

6.3 In the event of late payment, statutory default provisions apply. The Coach may suspend services while payment is outstanding.

6.4 Sessions cancelled by the Client less than 24 hours in advance are deemed to have taken place, unless the Client is prevented for reasons beyond their control.

7.1 Coaching requires the Client's active participation. The Client remains responsible for the decisions they make and the actions they take.

7.2 Before starting, the Client shall inform the Coach if they are currently receiving psychotherapeutic or psychiatric treatment, or have done so within the last 24 months.

8.1 The content on the-final-piece.com and the courses offered are intended solely for personal development and information. They do not constitute medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice or treatment. Coaching is a non-medical service and is not a curative treatment (Heilbehandlung) within the meaning of the Heilpraktikergesetz.

8.2 I, Lea Skapetze, do not act as a psychologist, psychotherapist, or physician within this coaching, and no physician–patient or therapist–client relationship arises. I share my own experiences and insights.

8.3 If you suffer from mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, or other serious psychological distress, I strongly recommend that you seek professional medical or psychotherapeutic help. Please contact a qualified professional or an appropriate support organisation.

8.4 Where such a condition is present or suspected, I may terminate the coaching relationship extraordinarily and will, where indicated, refer you to appropriate care.

If you are in the midst of an acute mental health crisis or are having suicidal thoughts, please contact a psychological emergency hotline, a doctor, or the psychiatric emergency service immediately.

9.1 Both parties treat all information disclosed during the coaching as confidential and do not share it with third parties.

9.2 This obligation survives the end of the contract.

9.3 The Coach is not subject to a statutory right to refuse testimony (Zeugnisverweigerungsrecht) and points this out expressly.

10.1 The Coach is liable without limitation for injury to life, body, or health, and for intent and gross negligence.

10.2 For slight negligence, the Coach is liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation, and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.

10.3 Any further liability is excluded.

11.1 All program materials, worksheets, recordings, and methods remain the intellectual property of the Coach, as set out in the copyright section of the Imprint above.

11.2 They are provided for the Client's personal use only and may not be copied, shared, published, or used commercially without prior written consent.

11.3 Recording of sessions by the Client requires the Coach's prior consent.

Personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR and the Privacy Policy.

13.1 German law applies. For consumers habitually resident in another EU member state, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of that state remain unaffected.

13.2 Amendments and supplements require text form.

13.3 Should any provision be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.
